oSummer Conference: 20 June 2025 in London
oAnnual Conference: 19-21 November 2025 in Leeds
The Education & Seminars Committee is keen to hear from anyone who would be interested in speaking at either the Summer or Annual Conference.
We are looking for enthusiastic speakers who are committed to preparing high-standard talks and to giving us their own views on their selected
subject matter, as well as (ideally) preparing a detailed (but not necessarily long) full-text paper to accompany the talk. If there are any topics / cases
of which you have had particular experience in the last twelve months, we would particularly welcome your input (although we acknowledge the
confines of confidentiality in many such circumstances).
There are lots of opportunities for lawyers of all levels and the Committee is willing to consider alternative formats, such as:
o30 minute slots (as an alternative to the usual 45 minute slots)
osessions with more than one speaker (for example, a less experienced speaker could join forces with a more experienced speaker)
opanel sessions
If you would like to put your name forward, please contact the organisers below with details of your proposed topic by Friday 7 March:
oSummer Conference: Dan Saunders at Herbert Smith Freehills (dan.saunders@hsf.com)
oAnnual Conference: Simon Evans & Victoria Lee at CMS (Simon.Evans@cms-cmno.com; Victoria.Lee@cms-cmno.com)
If you wish to have an informal chat before putting your name forward, we would be very happy to speak to you.
